Surface hydrology with matter emphasis to the quantification and simulation of the runoff, transport of sediments and agriculture-chemical in a catchment tends in bill the uses of the soil. Given that the precipitation hides, in high areas it is an important factor for the swinging hydrologic I have been quantifying and calibration systems of measurement of this component for the swinging hydrologic.
For besides this main line of investigation, I have been driving works for the quantification of the production increase, in some cultures, with complemented irrigation in Azores, extending the possibility to alert the farmers, for the implementation of warning stations, of the amount and moment in that she should make the way irrigations to reduce the losses of water. On the other hand I have 5 automatic meteorological stations, in a first phase for study of the relationship of the attack of curses and diseases in fruit bowls and in a second phase after the calibration and validation of models for warning stations to the farmers.
